SNOWBOARD PROGRAMS
Student Snowboarding Lessons - Ages 7 - 18
Beginners will learn to master the basics and the more experienced rider will explore a variety of terrain, building the skills necessary to master the mountain.
Students are grouped by age and ability.
2027 - 6 Week Saturday Program Dates:
January 9, 16, 23, 30, February 6, 20.
No class President’s Day Weekend: February 13
Make Up Day: February 27
2-Hour Lesson 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Please note: lesson does not include lift tickets or equipment rentals.
This program combines our morning group snowboard lesson with an afternoon extended coaching session at a bundled rate. You get a complete, structured day on the snow designed to accelerate your learning and build lasting confidence.
Morning Session: Focus on core fundamentals, balance, and initial technical skills.
Lunch Break: Rest, refuel, and review your progress (lunch not included).
Afternoon Extension: 1.5 hours of targeted coaching to cement your new skills on the slopes.

Operations and Refund Policy
Prices do NOT include:
Season Pass and/or Lift Ticket-
A Summit at Snoqualmie season pass is mandatory for all group lesson students. Day tickets are not permitted for the multi-week program. When you register for lessons with us, you’re guaranteed a season pass (even if they sell out to the public).
Equipment -
Equipment is not included with lesson purchase. Recommended Equipment Vendors include: Sturtevant’s (Tacoma/Bellevue), Play It Again Sports - (Woodinville), and Mountain to Sound Outfitters - (Seattle).
Lesson price does not include sales tax.
Act of Unforeseen Circumstances -
It is typical to postpone program operations throughout the season due to weather or road conditions. The decision to operate or postpone is at the sole discretion of Alpine West Ski & Snowboard School, under guidance from The Summit at Snoqualmie. Any make-up days will be scheduled and students notified. Any unforeseen circumstances hindering Alpine West Ski & Snowboard School from completing the current season NO refunds or credits will be owed. The operating status will be posted on the Alpine West Ski School website. Please check frequently for the latest information.
Lateness Policy -
If you are 15 or more minutes late to your lesson, Alpine West Ski and Snowboard School reserves the right to refuse you entry to your class for that day. Absences that result in missing your class 2 or more consecutive weeks will result in you forfeiting the remaining classes without a refund. If you are late less than 15 minutes, we will locate your class and take the student to their lesson.
No-Shows -
No refunds or credits are given for no-shows.
Refunds -
Requests for a refund must be made before 3pm on November 30th and will subject to a 15% non-refundable tuition fee, plus $5.00 transaction fee.
No refunds are given after November 30th, due to financial commitments for insurance, staffing, and operations. We appreciate your understanding as we operate within tight financial margins.
A prorated refund may only be given for documented injuries that result in the inability to participate in the program. Request for refund due to injury must include a PDF copy of injury report from Ski Patrol and received by February 21st, 2027.
All cancellations or refund requests must be made in writing by email to awsshrm@gmail.com accompanied with the student’s name and invoice number.
