We have seen children grow up to be exceptional on the slopes and return years later for private lessons to improve specific skills. It has been very rewarding for us to see parents bring their children and then have the opportunity to instruct the third generation of their family, as the small children we once instructed have children of their own. We now employ instructors who have received lessons from us when they were young. We enjoyed teaching your families how to enjoy this wonderful sport.

Alpine West Ski School is now entering a new generation.

Ronald and JoAnn have retired and entrusted the family business to their sons Brian and Todd.

Brian and Todd grew up with the ski school and have many memories to share, some of them utterly silly to downright crazy. Brian continued with the ski school throughout its duration, as he honed in on his skills and techniques as an instructor, to taking a leadership role as operations director. While Todd spent some time away on active duty, he continued to build his skiing techniques and leadership skills. The family reunited in 2017. With it entered two grandchildren, both turning out to be excellent skiers, must be in the genes. Todd is joined with his wife, who has taken on an administrative role becoming the backbone of operations.
